Feline Guitars are the company who build the official Blackmachine B6 model which are hand built in their Croydon workshops just outside London. Jonathan from Feline and Doug from Blackmachine have been lifelong friends and this collaboration was born out of Doug wanting to find someone of equal standing and skillset and reputation to assist with the B6 model
Doug wanted a limited run number to make the guitar something special - think the total B6s including the 28 that Doug co-built with us ranks at about 125.
There were several runs for about 6 years making between 10 and 20 per year, until the process was rudely interrupted by Covid , and some of that final batch of guitars that did get made were put on ice until now, and we've just decided to release them to complete the project.
Note that some have rosewood and some have Pau Ferro boards and appointments - as the CITIES restrictions on Rosewood came into force in 2017 for a while and then were lifted at the end of 2019, so there were a mix of both in construction at different times
Once these are gone they are gone .....
