A Phil-Good review for a Godin set-up

We had chosen to treat the guitar to a careful fret dress in the Dan Erlewine designed neck jig, changed the nut to an Earvana one and fettled the guitar to play sweetly and to have the tremolo stabilised as it wasn't quite returning to pitch previously .
All went very well and the guitar was shipped back to Phil. We checked in with Phil a day or two later to ensure safe delivery had been made and to see how he was getting on with the guitar. Phil said that all seemed great with the guitar and he was getting to grips with it and that he was putting pen to paper to express how much he was enjoying the guitar .
So the a few days later we received this testimonial from him which he asked if we would share. So here it is .....Thankyou Phil
Three separate attempts were made to try and make it what it should be and in early 2024, I discovered Feline. Having parked all my emotional angst, I eventually made the call in September. Jonathan spent an entire hour with me which was a combination of questions, caution, advice and opinions but without being judgemental or opinionated in any way. The guitar was despatched...
Just over a week later, my guitar came home. I looked at it in its case for several minutes before taking it out, tuning up to pitch and getting ready for a big Emaj chord. The chord rang out and I spent about 15 minutes trying to find the faults but they had disappeared! I plugged in to my little amp and couldn’t stop smiling. The body of the guitar is chambered and produces some fabulous sounds over and above just plucking the string. It now feels alive and responsive and is a pure pleasure to play; I heard new harmonics and there is no fret buzz or choking. I play only for myself in the confines of my own home and the investment now feels worth every penny - or even halfpenny for those with appropriate memories.
My only stipulation was a new Earvana nut - what a product! - which would also accommodate a change to a lighter string gauge. Everything else I left to Feline.
I won’t say how much it cost because every guitar and its needs will be different but it was less than I anticipated. I almost feel as though I should buy another guitar just to send it to Feline."
We've had to use a stock picture of the guitar model as we forgot to take any photos.
Phil had changed the pickguard on his guitar to a clear one that showed off the handsome grain
